Christmas past at the ancient house -  On Dec 2nd, meet costumed characters and learn more about the history of Christmas in Stafford, UK. There will be craft workshops for both children and adults and Father Christmas will be in attendance! No bookings are necessary.

Christmas Craft Fair - Do not miss the Christmas Craft Fair around St Chad's Church Greengate Street, on Dec 2nd, 2017.

Rock n Roll Panto at the Gatehouse - Enjoy the funny version of the 'Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood' traditional tale. It will open on Dec 7th, all through to Sunday, 7th of January next year.

The Holly and The Ivy Christmas Workshops - The much-anticipated workshops will be held at the at the Ancient High House. Hot fruity punch and meat pie will be available. Adults go in for £12, while children go for £2.

• Hands on Arms and Armor: Heritage Open day – This event will be held on 10^th of September, 2017 in the Stafford Castle and the admission to the castle is absolutely free of cost. You can try on the costumes and armor from the medieval period.

• Puppets from the Douglas Hayward Collection – This event will be held in the Ancient High House from 12 September to 11 November, 2017. The ticket is free and you can see the collection of Douglas Hayward that he has been collecting his entire lifetime. It is a really interactive and full-of- fun exhibition.

Stafford Arts Festival 2017 will be held in Stafford Town Centre at the 16^th

September, 2017 where you will see action- packed performances from dancers, musicians and other artists.

Stone Craft and Collectables Market will be held on 16 September, 2017 where you can see lots of stalls exhibiting lovely crafts.

• Puppet Play Day will be held on 1^st October, 2017 in the Ancient High House.
